Tips to Increase Chances of Winning Photo Contest
West Marine is looking for high quality photos that are large enough to print in their calendar… so its likely that photos taken from your smartphone are not going to cut it. Check the quality to make sure it is good enough to submit to increase your chances of being selected to win!
Upload photos with 3MB max file size and a minimum 3750 x 3750 pixels resolution.
Also, if you have people in your photo, be sure to have their permission to submit it. In most cases you’ll probably have pictures of your family on board your boat so you’ll likely not have a problem with that.
To submit your photo, click here to Enter West Marine’s Photo Contest
You’ll be directed to an entry form that asks for your email address, name, address, phone number and basic boat information. You’ll also be asked some additional info like a brief bio of you, your boat or the photographer (this just means tell us about yourself or your boat). You’ll also need to share the location of the photo and date the photo was taken.
The more information and detail you provide will likely increase your chances of winning… good luck!
